Red Canyon Village

Red Canyon Indian Store and Rock Shop

Experience an unforgettable canyon adventure in one of Utah’s most prominent geological areas! Ideally located just off Scenic Highway 12, Red Canyon, a prominent area/feature of Bryce Canyon National Park, engages visitors in some of the most remarkable and accessable protected lands in the American West. Witness diverse ecosystems of plants and animals as you hike the canyon’s many varied trails—with towering red-rock hoodoos around you.

Red Canyon Village offers lodging amenities including cabins, an RV Park and Campground and a well-known Indian Store and Rock Shop featuring Moccasins, souveniers, and artifacts. A Convenience Store supports day-trippers and the Cabin and RV Park guests with convenient supplies and sundries. From the Village guests can easily visit the nearby interpretive Red Canyon Visitor Center, on Scenic Highway 12, to get local trail-system maps, gifts, books, tapes and souveniers (435.676.2676). From here it’s just 13 miles to Bryce Canyon National Park!

Off road Hummer tours are also available out of Kanab; several itineraries are offered. With narration by local tour guides, Forever Adventure Tours provides exciting and educational touring experiences for guests. Reservations are advised; tours leave from nearby Denny’s Wigwam and The Iron Horse Restaurant/Saloon (in Kanab).
